Secaina Hudson – I Ain’t With You [London, UK]

Future Garage / Electronic / Lounge

22 year old London based songwriter, producer Secaina Hudson is definitely not new to the scene. She’s done a fair bit of producing and writing, with the likes of MNEK and Jacob Banks (Atlantic Records). But that does not justify how impressive this track is.  Working with FRANKMUSIK she’s created a comfortable lounge-worthy sound that I find no difficulty playing as a new summer hit. Fans of Disclosure, Bondax or Duke Dumont should dive in with glee!

Don’t know about you but I’m just about ready to flip my hair and proclaim independence.

Check out her other refixes, remixes, and covers at her soundcloud, it’s pretty great.
Also spread some love at her fresh new facebook page and tell your friends about her, this is the sorta music to share.

Disclosure – Help Me Lose My Mind ft. London Grammar [Reigate/London, UK]

Future Garage / Synth Pop / Soul / House

Since the english sibling synth pop duo Disclosure first released their debut studio album Settle, I’ve been waiting to share this track. I’ve waited through both White Noise and You & Me which believe me, were awesome selections. But  incomparable to this. As she’s demonstrated again and again, London Grammar’s lead female vocalist, Hannah Reid, has a set of pipes that’ll rocket any track or album to the top. Backed up with Disclosure’s signature blend of garage, funk and house, it makes for a perfect night drive soundtrack through the neon-dazzled city. (Think Tron).

Fans of AlunaGeorge and Dido’s recent music will no doubt fall in love with this instantly.

AlunaGeorge – Bad Idea [London, UK]

Electronic / Pop / Future Garge / R&B

Finally caught a break at the airport lounge to write this! Ever since the release of Attracting Flies almost half a year back, the English electronic music duo has been quiet for a while. With the release of their latest sensual single Bad Idea, the duo reminds us of their delicious electronic blend of pop and future garage that has made them such a stand out amongst the myriad up and coming electronic artists. Their debut album Body Music will be released at the end of this month on July 29th. Which also coincidentally happens to be the start of my first semester in Melbourne. So I’ll at least have one thing to look forward to!

Bondax – Giving It All [Lancaster, UK]

Future Garage / Electronic / Pop

More silky smooth and pop-infused danceable music from UK producer duo Bondax. Alongside Disclosure these guys have been blowing up recently. Fresh from their standout remix of Blackstreet’s No Diggitythe young duo is showing no signs of stopping. With beautiful synthetic and instrumental backing as they always have, this track is only further strengthened by the powerful yet anonymous female vocals. Mystery aside, this is pretty awesome.
