Vidal 2011 – Coteau Rougemont

Ice wine is no doubt a luxury, but if you were going to indulge in one anyways, the Vidal 2011 from the vineyard Coteau Rougemont is really worth trying. It packs an intensely sweet but elegant fruity punch that hits before you’ve even tasted it and then lingers nostalgically for a long while. Frozen grapes that evolved into an ice wine filled with luscious notes and hints of mango, lychee, and rose, it seemed to slightly deviate from the norm with its sweetness and viscosity, but it’s one deviation that melted the senses.
